So the cruise was great. Awesome company with all my friends from the View Askew message board. Two of our friends got engaged while on the cruise too! Freeport was nice, Nassau was gorgeous, the weather could have been better but obviously that's not Carnivals fault. I'd totally go on a cruise again; I'd love to go back to the Atlantis resort at Nassau to fully explore all the activities there were that we didn't get to.
 
I wish I could stay here in Orlando with the peeps because they are going to the theme parks & a comic book convention after this but alas I have to get back to work. It was a terrific vacation!

Arrived in Orlando

And it is a balmy 62 I'd guess. Not as humid & unbearable as Miami was in July 07. Our incredibly chatty cabbie is telling us his sob story about getting laid off 4 months ago & now driving a cab, I guess in an effort to mentally judo chop us into a great tip. We had a good layover at JFK - enough to grab some lunch & get back onto the same plane we'd come from OAK on. This time I remembered to grab my headphones out of my carry on so I could take advantage of the in-flight Direct TV JetBlue provides. We're at the condo and its gorgeous. More later. Nervous Anticipation

So I'm going to use good ol Posterous to chronicle my Bohemian vacation since I made the conscious decision not to bring my laptop. Right now we're sitting at Gate 9 at OAK awaiting boarding in a few minutes and my stomach is a flutter. First we fly to JFK, then on to Orlando. Should be exciting & I'll post more when we arrive in New York!
